Immediately upon its receipt, an account is assigned
to a member of our Adjustment Department. The adjuster
is advised of each client’s specific collection
needs, concerns and reporting requirements. Before entering
an account in work, we search our database to check prior
contacts with the debtor. In addition, we regularly utilize
information provided by credit reporting agencies, the
Department of Motor Vehicles, the U.S. Postal Service,
the Property Valuation Administrator’s Office,
the Sheriff’s Office, as well as, many other reliable
sources.
Contact with the debtor is then initiated. Our staff
is committed to taking every step necessary to obtain
full recovery - - IMMEDIATELY. If that proves to be an
impossibility, then we work toward establishing suitable
payment arrangements, based on financial data demanded
of a debtor. Should those avenues of collection be exhausted,
and, if conditions exist which indicate recovery of a
Judgment is favorable, EFS will recommend legal action.
This can be handled in two ways. One, we will, at your
request, send the debtor a customized letter on our letterhead
or, two, we will provide you with our three-part form
which, in essence, states the account will be placed
with Equitable Financial Services, LLC unless payment
is made. The Free Demand time frame is ten days.
Upon receipt of a delinquent account, your claim is
assigned to an adjuster and put into our system for Immediate
Service. A search of our database is performed to check
for any prior experience with the debtor. Contact is
then initiated. Our adjusters are committed to recovering
your money immediately or making suitable arrangements
for the debtor to repay the account in the shortest period
of time.
The Letter Series Consists of three time-tested letters
sent at various time intervals. The letters are printed
on our stationery. The “pressure” increases
with each letter, keeping the obligation to pay foremost
in the debtor’s mind. Users of this program receive
an acknowledgment report listing all accounts received,
dates letters are to be mailed, and the date the accounts “Rollover” into
regular collections if not paid. No accounts rollover
without prior approval. This is an inexpensive way to “nudge” your
account to resume negotiations with you to resolve the
outstanding balance.
Once our pre-legal collection efforts have been exhausted,
EFS will take yet another step toward recovery of your
funds, by sending an Attorney Letter to your debtor at
No Cost to you! If your funds are recovered through this
process, there will be no additional charge other than
the contingency fee already in place. There's no need
to request this service, as we will provide this as a
courtesy to all clients no matter the size of the account.
For a fee of $300.00, EFS will have a collector personally
call on your debtor, take a picture of their business,
attempt collection of the debt and evaluate what assets
may exist. Because of the up front fee, you will be granted
a reduced contingency rate of 12 1/2 percent. This rate
will apply while the account is being handled in the
preliminary stages, without the assistance of an attorney.
You may call us at 800-990-0378 to initiate this service.
Equitable Financial Services, LLC has an established
network of attorneys to whom claims can be forwarded.
If suit is recommended by local counsel, EFS will not
instruct the attorney to pursue legal action, incur costs
or compromise any account without your expressed approval.
Equitable Financial Services, LLC has the capabilities
to handle accounts for our clients, no matter where the
debtor is located in the free world. Our experience in
that arena is long-standing and unsurpassed in the Commercial
Collection Agency industry. Should it become necessary
to litigate, the accepted rates and costs in the country
where the debtor is located will apply.
